The Slammer was designed by TJ Irvin to remove bamboo and transplant trees at Bamboo Gardens Nursery in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Series 2 & 3 Prototype
The initial prototype was sold by Bamboo Gardens. Durability improved in materials and construction. Used mainly by landscaping and construction professionals.

The Slammer was exhibited in the Innovation section at Fieldays Agriculture Show in Hamilton, NZ. Business registered, product patented and Series 8 ready for market. Manufactured by Templeton and Sons Engineering Ltd, in Albertown, Wanaka, NZ. (Est.1906)
In 2013 The Slammer was awarded the IAMFE Cup for Outstanding Engineering Support and Trade Show Display at the Upper CLutha A&P Show, Wanaka.
The Slammer Tool sells worldwide. Distribution networks in place in Argentina, Uruguay and Australia.
